Taylor Peak is a high mountain peak at 3.602m (11,817ft) of Rocky Mountains in the Elk Range, within the White River National Forest Road. The road to the summit is steep. Starting at Aspen the ascent is 39km (24.2 miles) long. Its elevation gain is 1.184 meters with
an average gradient of 3%. From Aspen till Ashcroft Ghost town (Castle Creek road) route is on perfectaly paved road but short after turns to unpaved.
