Zilwaukee Bridge is one of the most spectacular bridges in the world. This high-level, segmental concrete bridge spanning the Saginaw River is said to be the perfect example on how not to build a bridge due to an accident that delayed construction for over
2 years and excessive cost involved. The bridge carries the I-75 / US 23 road. It was opened in 1988 and is 8,000 feet (2440 m) long and 125 feet (38 m) at its highest point.
