The Sanctuary of Saint Anna, located in the municipality of Vinadio, is the highest sanctuary of Europe build at 2,035 meters high. It is placed along the road from Vinadio, Italy, to Col de la Lombarde and then to Isola, France. Dedicated to Saints Annα and Joachim parents of Mary. The Patronal Festival is July 26. It is of the oldest church-hospices, since 'XI and 'XII century, along the many alpine passes build under church initiative, to assist travelers. The sanctuary had the same origin and was originally dedicated to St. Mary Brasca .
